Patrick currently resides in his home community of the Pimicikamak Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba. Patrick currently works as a Director with the Nikan Awasisak Agency. Previously, he worked as Community Research Assistant with the First Nations Food, Nutrition, & Environment Study; Youth Dialogue Workshop Facilitator with the Youth Peacebuilding Project in Winnipeg exploring relationships and dynamics existing within and between different identity groups; and internship work with the Hamilton AIDS Network in Hamilton, Ont. and abroad in New Delhi, India for 6 months working for the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India under the National Institute of Social Defense. Patrick has been an active EIYGL member since 2007.
Jonathan is an EIYGL member and graduate of the University of Winnipeg specializing in Information and Communication Technology. He is involved in the Aboriginal Community in many different levels, also committed to improving the social, environment, education and health of Aboriginal People’s and Communities in Canada. Jonathan is CEO of Indigenous Technologies and a Business Analyst and Certified Professional Trainer with Indigenous Leadership Development Institute Inc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jonathan grew up in Mallard, Manitoba and has registered status with Skownan First Nation, Manitoba.
Rosa is a member of Peguis First Nation of Manitoba. She is currently the Founder, President and CEO of the Indigenous Leadership Development Institute, Inc. in Manitoba and was previously the Founder and Executive Director of Taking Charge! Inc. – a Federal and Provincial initiative for single parents to transition into the workforce. She was also employed at the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs as Managing Director, Workplace Diversity. Rosa worked with the Bank of Montreal in the capacity of Manager, workplace Equality for Manitoba and Saskatchewan. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University o Winnipeg, and is a graduate of the Social Work Diploma Program at Confederation College, Thunder Bay, Ontario.
